Punjabi writer dies in road mishap

Sangrur, Nov 8 (UNI) Well known Punjab writer, Dr Jaspal Singh Mann died in a road mishap near Kheri village in the district today, police here said.

Dr Mann suffered head injuries after the scooter on which he was travelling hit a stray cow while he was on his way to his native village Maura. He was rushed to a hospital here where he later died.

Dr Mann who was teaching at the government Ranbir College here had authored a number of Punjabi books.
