Police arrest one naxalite

Malkangiri, Nov 8 (UNI) Deva Kawasi, a naxalite involved in the Jackalkhundi firing and looting of arms, was arrested and presented in the court today.

Malkangiri Superintendent of Police S Gojabhaya said the naxalite came to the Balimela square to pay money to an advocate in connection with a case when the police, acting on a tip off, arrested him yesterday.

Mr Gojabhaya said Deva Kawasi's uncle and brother were also hardcore naxalites.
