Light showers greet Delhiites before Diwali
New Delhi, Nov 8(UNI) A day before Diwali, a heavily overcast sky and scattered rainfall mellowed down the winter sun and and the swaying trees in a gentle breeze made a perfect setting for a family outing in the capital today.
According to the weatherman, though the minimum temperature in the morning rose to 16.2 degrees Celsius as against yesterday's 13.7 the sky became overcast as the day progressed, bringing down the temperature level slightly. The temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius at 1430 hrs.
He said the near absence of sunshine coupled with mild winds made the weather somewhat pleasant in the morning.
The weatheman said the sky would become clear after the showers and even breeze would peter out.
