Infiltration bid foiled in Kashmir, intruder killed

Srinagar, Nov 8:Troops foiled an infiltration bid from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of north Kashmir's Kupwara district today, an Army spokesman said.

An infiltrator has been killed so far as the operation was in progress till reports last came in, he added.

Meanwhile, the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel seized arms and ammunition from Kani Behak in Trehgam area of Kupwara district.

Three AK magazines, two AK rounds, one pistol magazine, three pistol rounds, two rifle grenades, two Chinese grenades and one R/L Bomb were seized during the search of the area.
