Government approves chargo project in Janori

Nashik, Nov 7 (UNI) The customs and finance department of Government of india has given its approval for the upcoming Halcon Air and Sea cargo project at Janori in Dindori taluka of the district, an official release said here today.

Considering the growth of the district in industrial and agriculture sector, the project will prove a boon for farmers. The total custom process for exporting goods will be held at the project itself. They will ease the export as well as import process for farmers.

The complex will have a 40,000 sq ft storage room, cold stores 60,000 sq ft, container parking, x-ray, scanning and fire brigades facilities.

It will also have trade shipping lines, space for airlines agencies available under one roof.

Meanwhile, the Union Government has also given customs airport status to Ojhar Airport in Nashik district. District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal had taken efforts for approval to these projects.
