Eight prisoners escape from court premises

Madhepura, Nov 08 (UNI) Eight undertrials today escaped from the district civil court premises here when they were being taken back to jail after their production before the court in connection with various criminal cases pending against them.

Police Superintendent O N Bhaskar said here that prisoners broke the panes of rear window of the lock-up and managed to escape from there.

'' Raids are being carried out to nab these prisoners, '' he added.
