Homecoming for Dalai Lama

Dharamshala, Nov. 4, 2007 : The Dalai Lama received a rousing welcome at his home in Dharamshala on return from the United States. Dalai Lama was bestowed with one of the highest U.S honours, the Congressional Gold Medal by the U.S. President George Bush.

Samdhong Rinpoche, Prime Minister of the Tibetan Government said that the award was a milestone as it signified the American government"s support for the Dalai Lama.
