Nahan, Nov 7 (UNI) Former Uttarakhand chief minister Bhagat Singh Koshiyari today predicted mid term polls in the country, saying that the Left Parties were likely to take back its support from the UPA Government following its pro US stance.

Addressing party workers at Haripurdhar, about 110 km from here, in Sirmaur district from here, he said mid term polls were likely in the country since the Letf parties had become frustrated with the Congress and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Referring to rise of essential commodities and widespread corruption in the state, he said the state government that had come to power on the promise of providing government job to one member of each family had failed in creating any opportunity during its tenure.

He said the days of the ruling Congress were numbered and the BJP would return to power after the assembly elections.
