Tremors continue to shock Junagadh Dist

Junagadh, Gujarat, Nov 7 (UNI) More than 20 earthquake aftershocks were felt in various villages of Junagadh district today.

The earthquake ripples were felt throughout the Saurashtra region right from south to central Gujarat.

Yesterday, a tremor measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale rocked this district, killing an old woman and injuring two persons seriously.

According to officials, villages of Talala, Hiranwel, Chitravad and Haripur in the district were the worst affected.

''A house collapsed in Talala, injuring 10 people, 40 houses collapsed in Haripur and 10 houses collapsed in Chitrawad,'' an official told UNI
