Sachin and family enjoy ride in 'shikara'

Chandigarh, Nov 7 (UNI) Just hours before going to serious business, a few cricketers from India and Pakistan took time out for sight seeing and shopping.

Indian master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, along with his wife Anjali, daughter Sarah and son Arjun, went to Sukhna Lake and enjoyed the ride in 'shikara'. The also went to the Rock Garden.

Indian captain Mahindra Singh Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, RP Singh and Rohit Sharma were invited to a sports equipment shop in Sector 22.

Pakistani cricketers -- Imran Nazir, Kamran Akmal, Abdul Rehman and Salman Butt-- went to the main shopping centre of the city, Sector 17.

The Punjab Cricket Association has turned into a fortes with the presence of a large number of persons in khaki. Elaborate security arrangements have been made.

Meanwhile, Tennis sensation Sania Mirza arrived this afternoon to watch the India-Pakistan day/night ODI. After checking in she went to the CLTA Tennis Stadium in Sector 10 where she had played a number of tournaments. She was at the CLTA after a gap of six years.
