One-way love affair leads a student to suicide

Bangalore, Nov 7 (UNI) A teen aged girl has allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a tree in Cubbon Park in the heart of the city, after she was threatened by a youth with acid attack if she spurned his 'love offer'.

Cubbon park police said that 17-year-old Sushma, diploma engineering student, living in Audugodi area in the city in her suicidal note explained the circumstances saying that a boy had written her letters offering his love but she refused.

The boy with the help of his friends, all students of Government SJP Polytechnic, he had threatened her of a acid attack.

Disturbed over the incident she was committing suicide, the girl wrote.
