Notorious criminal surrenders before court

Ara, Nov 7 (UNI) A notorious criminal, carrying reward of Rs 25000 on his head, wanted in connection with more than 15 cases of murder, loot and kidnapping, surrendered before the court here today.

He surrendered before Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Ramesh Kumar Singh, who remanded him to judicial custody.

He was also wanted by Uttar Pradesh police where several criminal cases had been pending against him since long.

He was declared absconder by a court of Ara in 1997.
