Man held for eve teasing in AP dist

Machilipatnam, Nov 7 (UNI) A man, accused of eve teasing, was arrested and produced before the local magistrate court at Kodhada village in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh today.

Police said the man, a tractor driver of Pesaramili village, was harassing a girl student C Mahalakshmi (19) for the last several months. Unable to bear the alleged harassment, she doused herself with kerosene and set herself on fire at her residence.

Police said the girl, who was admitted to the Gudivada Government Hospital on Sunday last, was in a critical condition.
