Man drowns in river Amravathy in TN

Karur, Nove 7: A 23-year-old man drowned in river Amravathy here last night.

Police today said M Maduraiveeran, son of Mani, Karur town AIADMK Treasurer, went to take bath in the river, when the mishap occurred.

Police and Fire services personnel fished out the body from the river and sent it for post-mortem to the Government General hospital here.
