Man climbs telecom tower demanding reinstatement in service
Nagpur, Nov 7 (UNI) A 30-year-old contract labourer climbed atop a telecommunication tower at Ballarpur in Chandrapur district today demanding reinstatement in a factory from where he had been removed.
According to the police, Prakash Pawar had been employed as a contract worker in a paper mill but was removed from service about a year-and-half back on disciplinary grounds.
Mr Pawar claims that his removal had been held illegal by a court but, despite this, he was not being reinstated.
