Governor, CM greet people on Diwali eve in Goa

Panaji, Nov 7 (UNI) Governor S C Jamir, Chief Minister Digambar Kamat and BJP Opposition leader Manohar Parrikar today greeted the people of Goa on the eve of Diwali festival (the festival of lights).

The Governor, in his message, wished that the celebrations will ''herald a brightnd sparkling new era of greater peace and prosperity to one and all''.

The chief minister hoped that the festival, symbolising triumph of the good over the evil, may bring happiness, prosperity and joy in everyone's life.

Mr Parrikar, in a separate message, wished fulfilment of the aspirations and resolution of everyone.
