Girl ends life fearing 'acid test'

Bangalore, Nov 7 (UNI) A teenaged girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging in Cubbon Park here, after a youth 'threatened' that he would attack her with acid if she spurned his 'love'.

Police said Sushma (17), a Diploma engineering student, living in Audugodi area here in her suicidal note explained the circumstances leading to taking the extreme step. A boy had written letters offering his love, which she refused, the letter said.

The boy with the help of his friends, all students of Government SJP Polytechnic, had threatened her of an acid attack.
