Hyderabad, Nov 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Municipal Administration Koneru Rangana Rao today said the proposals for filling up of teachers posts in all Municipalities in the state were in the process of finalisation.
Replying to a question by the Katcha George Victor and Dachuri Rami Reddy and others in the Legislative Council today, the minister said there were some service rules for recruitment of teachers, and based on the rules, the govenrment would take up recruitment of teachers in the municipalities.
He said the government would place the service rules in the House.
He said several municipalities and corporations were maintaining separate Provident Fund accounts for teachers. He denied the charge of the members that some municipalites were not maintining separate PF accounts and diverting the funds collected for PF from teachers.
He said there was a proposal to frame separate Service Rules for Municipal and Municipal Corporation Teachers.
