Jammu, Nov 7 (UNI) Claiming that unemployment problem has assumed alarming dimensions in Jammu and Kashmir, former chief minister and National Conference patron, Dr Farooq Abdullah today said that future of the educated unemployed youth was not secure in the state.

Speaking at a function here he said unresponsive attitude of the coalition government towards the problem has added to the woes of the educated youth of the state.

''Coalition government has failed to frame a comprehensive policy to secure the future of the educated unemployed youth by creating adequate employment avenues for them'', Dr Abdullah said.

He said loose administration and absence of proper monitoring have badly hampered the implementation the schemes on the ground.
