Centre to set up Khadi cluster units in all villages

Thrissur, Nov 7 (UNI) Union Minister for Small Scale Industries, Mahavir Prasad today said Khadi cluster units would be set up in all villages of the country to provide employment to rural people.

Inaugurating the Thalappilli Cotton Khadi cluster at Avinissery near here, he said his ministry would seek sufficient fund from the Centre for the purpose.

The Thalappilli Cotton Khadi Cluster would provide employment to 1500 persons, Khadi Village Industries Commission Chairperson Khumud Jothy said.
