2 cops suspended for dereliction of duty

Vadodara, Nov 7 (UNI) Police Commissioner P C Thakur today suspended an assistant sub-inspector and a constable for dereliction of duty.

The two were suspendend following a vigilance squad report to the police commissioner that they had failed to check the gambling racket under their jurisdiction.

The vigilance squad had raided the gambling den and seized cash of Rs 31,800 and arrested eight persons.
