Youth killed by miscreants

Barrackpore, Nov 06 (UNI) A 24-year youth, allegedly a wanted criminal of the Khardah Purani Bazar area near here, was killed by unknown miscreants.

Police said today that some miscreants hurled bombs on Ramuya, a wanted criminal, at Chhoto Gandhi More of Purani Bazar under Khardah police station in North 24 Parganas.

He succumbed to his injuries on the spot, police added.

Later, Ramuya's supporters attacked the rival group by hurling bombs on them.

However, no other casualty was reported.

Police rushed to the area and started combing operation to nab the miscreants.

However, no one was arrested so far.

Meanwhile, the body was sent for post-mortem, police added.
