Weightlifter expelled in MP

Jabalpur, Nov 6 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh State Weightlifting Association has expelled a local weightlifter for five years for furnishing a fake age certificate at the recent state-level Weightlifting Championship here.

''The Association conducted an inquiry after a complaint against Rajendra Singh,'' Secretary Satish Yadav said in a statement issued today.

The sportsman was issued a notice asking him to return international certificates.
