UP assembly adjourned indefinitely

Lucknow, Nov 6 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh assembly was today adjourned sine die after a brief four-day winter session.

The House, which commenced on October 30, took up the first supplementary budget of the Mayawati government on October 31 and later approved several new bills.

The House also approved the controversial Uttar Pradesh Organised Crime Control Act (UPOCCA) bill yesterday even after strong protest from the opposition.
