United Utilities selects Infosys for OMS modernisation
Bangalore, Nov 6 (UNI) UK-based United Utilities, that manages electricity, water and wastewater networks, has selected Infosys Technologies Limited to modernise its Operating Management System (OMS).
According to a release from the Infosys here today, under the agreement United Utilities would increase scalability and flexibility of its enterprise architecture through adoption of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), which was important for achieving regulatory compliance, involving the end-to-end design, development, migration and replatforming of OMS.
Over a period of nine months, Infosys would deliver a comprehensive approach to SOA adoption with frameworks, methodologies and reusable tools to facilitate United Utilities transformation to a service oriented enterprise.
