Time Warner names new CFO

NEW YORK, Nov 6 (Reuters) Time Warner Inc appointed John Martin as its new chief financial officer in the company's first executive move after the appointment of Jeffrey Bewkes as its new chief executive.

Martin, who starts his new job on Jan. 1, when Bewkes also takes over as CEO, is currently CFO at Time Warner Cable Inc.

He rejoins the corporate parent, where he once served as senior vice president of investors relations.

Current CFO Wayne Pace will retire at the end of 2007.
