Rupee openes firm at 39.28/29 per USD

Mumbai, Nov 6 (UNI) The Rupee today opened firm at 39.28/29 against US Dollar as compared to previous close of 39.29/30 per dollar.

The Indian unit was trading in a narrow range of 39.26 and 39.32 against the greenback. The suspected intervention to prevent its upmove by the Central Bank was there in a fairly active inter bank foreign exchange (Forex) market, dealers said.
