Miscreants shoot at traders; Snatch Rs 80,000

Jamshedpur, Nov 6 (UNI) Armed miscreants today shot at a trader of Haldipokhar in East Singhbhum district in the compartment of Tata-Badampahar Passenger and decamped with his bag containing Rs 80,000.

Police said the trader, Dinesh Agarwal, was returning from Tiring in Orissa's Mayurbhanj district after collecting the amount when the miscreants entered the compartment and fired at him and then fled with the bag.

Mr Agrawal was rushed to Tata Main Hospital here in a critical condition. But he was out of danger now, the hospital sources said.

None had been arrested in connection with the incident so far, police said.
