HC issues contempt notice to HRTC, DM

Shimla, Nov 6 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh High Court today issued a contempt notice to Himachal Road Transport Corporation Divisional Manager (Legal and Labour) for not complying with its orders of depositing money with the court.

The court observed that the submission made by the HRTC (appellant) that the amount had been deposited before the Tribunal was not maintainable and issued notice to the divisional manager for its contempt.

The court had earlier asked the applicant to deposit a fixed sum of amount within four weeks of time, after December 26 when the case was last listed.

It has also directed the divisional manager to be present in the court on December 17 on the next date of hearing.
