Five killed, 12 hurt in Kashmir accident
Srinagar, Nov 6 (UNI) At least five people--three children and two women--killed and about 12 others wounded when a speeding tipper rammed into a wadding party in Kulgam district of south Kashmir today, official sources said.
They said women and children were singing traditional folk songs at a weeding ceremony in Frisal village of Kulgam district when the driver of the tipper lost control over the vehicle and rammed in to the party.
The sources said three children and two women were killed while about 12 others wounded in the accident. The injured have been hospitalised.
