Call money rate ends at 6.25 pc

Mumbai Nov 6 (UNI) Inter-bank call rates today closed marginally higher at 6.25 per cent compared to its previous close of 6.10 per cent.

The overnight rates were traversing in the range between 6.00-6.10 per cent.

According to market watchers, on account of the ample liquidity in the market call rates will remain steady in coming days.

From last two weeks, call rates were hovering in the range between 6.10-6.25 per cent.

The Reserve Bank of India, through reverse repo, accepted 31 bids worth Rs 41,000 crore at a fixed rate of six per cent.
