Bank manager shot dead at Samastipur

Samastipur, Nov 06 (UNI) Unidentified criminals shot dead a Bank manager and injured its treasurer near Kusaiyya Gumti under Warishnagar police station in the district today.

Police here said Ratan Kumar, branch manager of Union Bank in Warishnagar and treasurer Ram Kumar Jha were on their way back home here when unidentified criminals shot dead Mr Kumar, while Mr Jha sustained severe injuries.

Mr Jha was rushed to the local sadar hospital.

All the exit routes of the district had been sealed and raids were on to nab the criminals.
