24X7 channel showing Kollywood classics to be launched in S'pore

Singapore, Nov 6 (UNI) A 24-hour movie channel featuring Tamil blockbusters from India will be started in Singapore from November 9.

Singapore telephone group, Singtel, is launching Tamil Box Office that would feature Kollywood popular classics, evergreens from several decades of Indian film-making, hits and blockbuster movies.

The service being launched by mio TV would be available on mio TV channel 55.

''We are very excited to launch TBO on mio TV. We are confident that fans of Tamil movies will find a wide range of options on mio TV that will cater to different preferences,'' said TBO managing director Parthasarathy Ganesan.

Mio TV is responding to customer requests for a dedicated channel for Tamil movies, content director Low Ka Hoe said.
