Pakistan elections may be delayed

Prime
Minister
Shaukat
Aziz
on
Sunday
said
that
parliament
is
entitled
to
delay
elections
for
a
year
under
the
state
of
emergency,
but
added
that
deliberations
were
on
to
decide
the
election
schedule.
Pakistan's national and four provincial assemblies will complete their term on November 15 and elections were scheduled to be held within 60 days by mid-January.
