Emergency in Pak evokes mixed reactions

Wagah Border, Nov. 5, 2007 : Pakistan's president Musharraf's decision to impose a state of emergency across the country evoked mixed reactions on Sunday among Pakistani citizens visiting India.

President Pervez Musharraf imposed a state of emergency in a bid to end an eight-month crisis over his rule stoked by challenges from a hostile judiciary, Islamist militants and political rivals.
