Dalai Lama slams Chinese govt

New Delhi, November 3, 2007 : At a special function to felicitate him in New Delhi today, Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama slammed the Chinese government of wanting peace but using guns.

The function was organised by the Gandhi Peace Foundation and the All India Parliamentary Forum for Tibet. It was organised to congratulate His Holiness on being awarded the US Congressional Gold Medal by American President George W. Bush at a ceremony on October 17.
