Two killed as crackers catch fire

Shahdol, MP, Nov 5 (UNI) Two people died and as many were injured when firecrackers kept in a jeep caught fire at Venketnagar town in Anuppur district, police said today.

Some people were going in the jeep with 10 sacks of fire crackers when the incident occurred last night. The rear of the vehicle was badly damaged. Arjun Das and Jagdish Jawani, who were sitting on the rear seat, died.

The injured were discharged after providing treatment. The bodies of the deceased had been sent to hospital in Anuppur. UNI
