Three criminals killed in encounter

Muzaffarpur, Nov 5 (UNI) At least three criminals were killed in an encounter with police, while two others managed to escape at Lakshmi Chowk under Bramhpur police station in the district today.

Police Superintendent Ratnmani Sanjay said during routine patrolling, five people were found roaming on motorbike suspiciously.

When challenged, they opened fire on the security personnel following which police had to retaliate in self-defence.

Three criminals were killed on the spot, while two others managed to escape from the spot, police said adding raids were being carried out to nab others.
