Rainfall occurred at few places in the State

Bangalore, Nov 5 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Udupi 4; Mulki, Gundlupet 3 each; Belthangadi, Puttur, Karkala, Mangalore AP, Hirekerur, Soraba, Bandipura 1 each.

Minimum temperatures rose at a few places Coastal Karnataka and changed little over Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Mysore recorded lowest minimum temperature of 18.0 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of North Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. A spell of rain/thundershowers possible towards evening/night. Minimum temperature would be around 19 degree celsius.
