Make drinking water arrangement in Chhatarpur: Chouhan

Chhatarpur, MP, Nov 5 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today announced Chhatarpur district as drought-affected and gave directions for making overall arrangements for drinking water.

Mr Chouhan, while addressing 'Panch-Sarpanch Evam Dussehra Milan' programme at Satna village in this district, said a high level committee of the Public Health Engineering department would soon carry out a survey for arrangements of drinking water. Action would be taken on the basis of its report.

He issued directions for starting immediate relief work in the district.

The Chief Minister assured farmers that rent would not be collected from them due to drought. The government would provide every possible assistance for making available drinking water and other necessities.
