KSU State Secretary hacked

Kannur, Nov 5: Kerala Students Union (KSU) State Secretary K Binoj (26) was hacked, allegedly by SFI activists, at S N park near here, today.

He was admitted to the ICU at the district hospital with serious injuries on his legs.

Mr Binoj, a student of Thalassery HDC, was on his way to his house at Barnassery when assailants attacked him.

KSU State President Hybi Eden alleged that the attack was conducted by district leaders of SFI.

The Union had called for a state-wide strike in all the educational institutions in the State tomorrow, protesting against the attack.
