Girl fatally knocked down by lorry

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) A four-year-old girl was killed on the spot while proceeding to school as she was hit by a speeding borewell lorry under Jeedimetla police limits in the city today.

Police said the mishap occurred whtn Salomi an LKG student, came on the road along with her mother to catch the school bus. She received severe head injuries and died on the spot.

Angry local people attacked the lorry driver, Lingaswami. He was admitted to a nearby hospital.
