Fire cracker unit blast toll reaches 8

Hyderabad, Nov 4 (UNI) The death toll in the November one fire cracker unit blast rose to eight with one more child succumbing to injuries at a hospital here today.

Police said the child, who was undergoing treatment in a corporate hospital, died this morning.

Five children had succumbed to burn injuries yesterday.

The explosion at the cracker factory had killed two children, while another five, receiving treatment at the hospital, were stated to be in critical condition, police added.
