CPI optimistic about democracy in Pak

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Nov 5 (UNI) Communist Party of India General Secretary A B Bardhan today said imposition of emergency was painful and expressed the optimism that Pakistan would soon be heading towards democracy.

''Imposition of emergency in Pakistan would have its impact on Indo-Pak relations, but efforts to improve the relations should continue'', he told UNI here.
