Body exhumed as 'murderers' surface
Puducherry, Nov 5 (UNI) Police exhumed the body of a youth to establish his identity, after three people confessed that they had killed him, thus reopening a case earlier stated as ''death under mysterious circumstances'.
According to police, the decomposed body of an unidentified youth was found in a bush at Thengaithittu last month and police had registered it as a case of ''suspicious death.'' Police had buried the highly decomposed body after a post mortem and his identity was not established.

Following this, police changed the case into a murder case and arrested John Paul, Suresh and Murugan.
Police exhumed the body in the presence of Tahsildar Yaswanthaiah to confirm whether the deceased was Bala. Dr Balasubramanian from the Government General Hospital collected the skull and bones and sent it to the National Forensic Science Laboratory in Hyderabad.
