Apar industries bags order from Ethiopia

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) Apar Industries Ltd, one of India's leading electrical and metallurgical engineering companies, today announced that the company's Conductor Division has bagged an export order worth Rs 1225 million from Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPC), a sole Power Utility of The Federal Government of Ethiopia.

According to a press release here, Apar would supply Aluminium Alloy Conductors, Galvanised Steel Wires and Aluminium Round-tie Wire for EEPC's power transmission and distribution lines.

The company is the second largest producer of Conductors in India and among the top five in the world with about 23 per cent market- share catering to world's leading power generation and transmission companies.
