AP Govt suspend two officials for issuing NOC

Tirupati, Nov 5(UNI) The Government has suspended two officials for allegedly issuing no objection certificates to private persons for Government land here today.

Official source said Tahsildar Surendra Babu, Tirupati Rural and former Tahsildar of Tirupati Urban, Sankaranarayana, who is presently working as an administrative officer at RDO office here, were suspended for their illegal activities.

The enquiry revealed that the offenders had issued NOCs on 1.5 acre prime Government land at Daminedu village.

Meanwhile, Telegu Desam Party(TDP) State Secretary N V Prasad had demanded the Government to cancel the certificates issued by the officials concerned.
