AP CM meets Switzerland President
Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajsasekhara Reddy today called on Switzerland President Micheline Calmy-Rey, who came here on a two-day official visit this afternoon.
According to an official release here, Ms Micheline hailed the progress of Hyderabad and said the city was so crowded with different sections of people.
The Chief Minister said while Switzerland was a rich country compared to India, the State is rich in human resources'.
Explaining salient features of the State, Dr Reddy informed her that the State produces about one lakh engineers and other professional graduates every year.
She enquired about the population, area, energy requirement, tax revenue of Andhra Pradesh.
State Energy Minister Mohd Shabbir Ali, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Jannat Hussain, among other officials, who attended the meeting.
