Three excise officials suspended
Khargone, MP, Nov 4 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Excise Commissioner has suspended the Khargone Assistant Excise Officer and two other excise officials on the charge of irregularities.
District Excise Officer Alok Khare said a flying squad of the excise department had found less percentage of alcohol in countrymade liquor besides other irregularities.
Considering it as a negligence on the part of excise officials, a report was sent to the Excise Commissioner T Dharmrao.
Acting on the report, Mr Dharamrao suspended Assistant Excise Officer C M Nimama, Ware House incharge R P Khandelwal and Kasravad Excise Sub-Inspector Mohanlal Bhayel with immediate effect.
A show cause notice was also issued to District Excise Officer Alok Khare.
