South African national nabbed with smack in Haryana

Panipat, Nov 4 (UNI) The Haryana police nabbed a South African national with 4.7 kg smack worth Rs 4.50 crore in the international market last night.

The alleged culprit, identified as Christopher Hubab, a resident of Johansburg was later arrested under NDPS Act. He was produced in a local court and was remanded to police custody.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohinder Singh said today that the foreigner was nabbed from a bus at the local bus stand. He had strapped packets containing the drug to his thigh.

The Haryana police has informed the South African Embassy in New Delhi.
